Follow the instructions to make the feed mix for your breeding budgies,
- Rinse pulses and beans and then soak them in water overnight
- Use a strainer to drain water from beans and pulses in the morning
- Rinse them thoroughly again and put them into a bowl
- Dry the moisture from the beans and pulses so that it does not catch bacteria or fungus
- Chop vegetables and mix it
- Finally, make a powder of eggshells and cuttlebone
- Sprinkle the powder over the feed mix
Remember to sprinkle 1 tablespoon of grit as well into the bowl which helps budgies in digestion.
You have now prepared a delicious feed mix treat for your budgies. Serve 1 tablespoon for each bird and watch them chew on their treat delightfully.
